Novak signs three-year extension — Penguins lock up another core forward

Thomas Novak has signed a three-year contract extension with Pittsburgh, keeping the versatile forward in the fold alongside Koivunen and Malkin.

Novak was a key contributor to Pittsburgh's 98-point 2025-26 season and gives the Penguins depth and reliability down the middle.

The Penguins open preseason September 21 vs. Buffalo before the regular season begins September 30 at Philadelphia.
